Rest in peace my gentle giant. I love you so very very much and what I did today, I did to free you from your ongoing and increasing discomfort.

Sorry I did not say goodbye but I asked Chrissie to give you a big kiss from me.
I'm so sorry that we have spent the past 2 wheeks apart but I wanted you to have the best possible care in the hope that you could get sorted out and come back to me.
Sadly that will not be the case but I have nothing but precious memories of our 3 years together.

You were a loyal companion and a friend and the best hand licker in the country! Of that I am certain.

My beautiful boy... how I shall miss you. You were my first thing in the morning and my last thing at night and everything in between.

Run free little one - Billie is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge and he will give you a guided tour of the best spots.

I will love you forever

I am so sorry that you had to make the heartbreaking decision of letting Merlin go where there is no pain, after you battled so much for his health.

He will always be in your heart and your thoughts.

I am so sorry you lost him. You fought so hard to help him recover, I am sorry it has ended so sadly. He was in wonderful hands with Chrissie, I know if there was anyone else I would want with my pigs towards the end it would be Chrissie, I do hope you find some comfort in that he was with someone who really cared.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost Merlin. He sounded like a magnificent gentleman and was part of your life for some time. He will be popcorning free of pain at Rainbow Bridge and will be watching over you. Run free little Merlin. You will be sadly missed...
