Our favourite lil girl Minnie had to be put to sleep at the end of January after a recurring breathing problem became too much for her. Minnie was brave, friendly and full of character until the end, she's now sorely missed by all.
Minnie was adopted in September 2008 and lived with us for around 4yrs 4mths, initially with her mate Jake until January 2011 and then with her new pal Jerry since March 2011. Minnie was such a big character for someone so small and really helped our shy boy Jerry to grow in confidence.
Minnie's been buried close to her old friend Jake and will always be remembered for her confident, friendly, yet cheeky character. I miss her climbing the bars each time she heard you for her nose to be fussed and in the hope of some fresh food, also her constant happy chattering and excited nature. Jerry seems lost without her sitting in his pigloo, shredding newspaper and even trying to seek attention from the cat who he'd previously hide from. Jerry became increasingly close to Minnie before the end, sleeping against one another in the one igloo and letting her use his back as a pillow whilst she rested.
