In the introduction of my guinea pigs, I mentioned that Bear was old and might be leaving us soon. Well, you can imagine what this is about, my sweet Bear has passed. Smores and I are devastated, Smores has lost his best friend and I lost a daughter. I've had Bear since he was just a small bean, I grew up with him by my side. Owning a guinea pig is a magical road. It's not a kid pet, most people think it's easy to care for one. But owning one takes more time, effort and care then you can imagine. The love of an owner and a guinea pig is similar to the love of a mother and her child. Smores doesn't know she is gone yet, that will change soon though. We took Bear to the vet, the vet realized something off and realized she was sick. We took her home, gave her the care she needed, but the next day we came to check on her, she was gone. We buried her in a patch of flowers, rest in peace Bear... we will miss you.😢

Even when a loss is not unexpected it still can come as a shock and Bear will leave a hole in your heart.
