Sadly Ozzy had to be pts yesterday. It's something we had been expecting but not in these tragic circumstances. He'd been out in the back garden & came back in acting as usual like a teenager for all is 14+ years. He went to leap through the dog but spread-eagled & broke his back left leg. We knew it was bad & couldn't possibly take him to to car so had to call the vet out who confirmed the worst & poor Ozzy was pts.
Ozzy was born on May 18 1999 just a 5 days after our first grandson born & sadly 3 weeks after our son died. We got Ozzy from the Dogs Trust (a different name back then) & he's been the best dog we've ever had. Not a bad bone in his body. You could put your hand in his bowl when he was feeding & he was great with the grand kids. More recently he's adapted in last 3 years to sharing the house with our guinea pigs & we had total trust in him. During Minky's recent illness we've been able to leave her alone with Ozzy in the living room with no problems whatsoever. Sadly we haven't got many pictures of him but her's one from 2012.

You'll be sadly missed. R.I.P. Ozzy
