My guineas are indoor guineas and are quite near the radiator. We frequently have it on but i can controll in the room they are kept how hot it can be in there. the radiator thing can go up to 5 and i have turned it onto 2. It is WARM not HOT and not COLD.

is this ok. they are not next to it but about 40cm away.
 
It should be ok. As long as it not one extreme and then another it should be fine. :) I've seen many cages with pigs placed next to radiators. :)
