As some of you will have seen in my previous thread, we have teamed up with Little Wood Plaques, who have kindly offered to donate £1 for every plaque sold to Milhaven Guinea Pig Rescue. The cage/hutch/door plaques are lovely and at £4 each including postage, they are very reasonably priced. Please have a look at their website, www.little-wood-plaques.co.uk

After having a chat today, Tracy has very generously offered to donate a number of her new rainbow plaques in honour of all the piggies we have lost, as we are planning on designing a dedication wall in our new long term residents shed, these plaques will serve as a loving, forever reminder of how special each and every one of our piggies are and have been.

These plaques are amazing, they are, of course, a rainbow with a small cloud at each end, and your piggies name will be burnt into the rainbow and sealed with a satin varnish. They will come with either sticky back pads for easy fixing or a small stake to enable them to be placed in a flower bed/pot. Roses are particularly fitting as a lovely dedication to our much loved and lost pets.

The first of these special rainbow plaques will be started at the weekend so if you would like to order one, please email Tracy at [email protected].

A dedication wall is such a cool idea and a great way to honour those furry friends we have lost.

Aw, this made me cry :0
Is Tracy donating them or could members maybe purchase a plaque for one of your Rainbow piggies if you compiled a list of names - a bit like the Secret Santa ?/ This would help your funds as well :)

There is sadly quite a few piggies which we have loved and lost over the years so I'm sure Tracy couldn't cover all of them. If I compile a short list of more recent ones maybe people could purchase the plaque on the piggy's behalf. I'll have a think! Thank you for your idea's.
