I went to a food market and managed to find organic rainbow chard. I could not wait to give it to the gang. They made excited sounds when they saw it and seemed so happy. Look how pretty it is.
 
I love chard, and so do my pigs! It's quite low in calcium and is a good "frequent" food to feed.

There's something growing in my front garden, and I'm sure it's chard!

Oh... and guess where the OH is from ;)
 
We grow chard and our guineas and chickens love it as do we!

Oh yes I remember Liam is from Chard! Well you cannot buy it around here so I was thrilled to find it. I have never eaten it myself but it is a bit pricey so I think I will just leave it for them.
 
I can occasionally get it in a farm shop I pass on my travels. I buy it with the intention of eating it myself, but 5 little wheeky mouths often get it instead!
 
Oooh, that looks nice. Will have to try and get some and see if my fussy girls like it. :)
