Why did I go in P @ H? Went to the adoption section, one girl gerbil, 2 lovely ginger boy piggies fast asleep, 2 bunnies and 1 x 12 week old piggie called Ralph! Said on the board he had a poorly eye and needed a warm home with lots of cuddles. Spoke to a girl working there and she said he had been in adoption centre a few weeks, was one they had to sell, he had a cataract, I couldnt see it! She said he was very shy and nervous. He was small for 12 weeks. I spoke to him and he ventured out of his tunnel then wandered over to eat some dry food. I was sooooo tempted, but talked myself out of it. I dont know why I go to the adoption bit I shall worry about him now....")

I always feel the same when I see any animals needing a home. I feel guilty for not being able to give them all a home and sad that they dont have a home.
I once searched for guinea pig cages on gumtree and then everytime I went on ebay the advert banner at the top of the page was a gumtree advert and it had obviously registered that I searched for 'ginea pig' on this computer that it kept showing me gumtree adverts for guinea pigs and other animals being sold. It broke my heart to see the pictures of all these poor unloved animals, and it especially broke my heart when I saw the dogs who were not puppies but just pets that people didn't want anymore.
I had to go on gumtree and search for washing machines so that the advert on ebay would stop showing me all the poor animals. I'm now very tempted to buy myself a new washing machine though!

Understanderable that you should worry about the little guy, I worry about what sort of lives the ones that are being sold and the adoption section are going to have.:( No one would blame you if you went back and rescued him, all guineas deserve a good life regardless of where they come from.
