Ralph has spent today all on his ownsome while his bossy wives both spent the day at the vets (Poppy having a bladder flush and Holly having an X-ray).
After his initial shock and sadness at finding himself alone he soon enjoyed the benefits of a day without sowves and would like to reassure other husboars that today had some real highlights:
1. Unhindered zoomies - Poppy has an unfortunate knack of flopping down right in Ralph’s path when he’s doing laps of his cage and he has to do a detour. Today Ralph was able to achieve multiple laps of zoomies without detour. The excitement resulted in squeals, wheeks and awesome popcorns.
2. Pick of the beds - Ralph got to test each and every bed including the one in Poppy’s reserved corner of the cage.
3. Unoccupied hay trays - No one shouting get off or get out when Ralph hurled himself into the hay. There was no one hiding under the hay to grumble.
4. Undivided attention from the slave - who kept coming to check he was ok on his own, and giving him lots of chin rubs and snuggles. And blueberries as a treat.
5. A whole bowl of veggies to himself. No salad thieves. No need to grab and run.
But the best part of Ralph’s day was when his ladies came home and he could give them his boarly kisses and tell them how much he’d missed them. Here he is giving poorly Poppy a welcome home kiss.
