There have been a few posts about ramp tunnels recently and I am seriously thinking of getting one for my trio's outdoor hutch as it is a 2 their hutch.

I am a little concerned . This will make the ramp much safer BUT...

From what I have seen going on in the indoor set up (C&C) , sometimes a GP wants to go up a ramp to a balcony area but , if there is a GP already in balcony area , that GP says no and GP on ramp has to do a U turn on the ramp. I can't see what would happen if they are both in a tunnel as I don't think there will be any turning space.

Any ideas or experiences of this anyone?

Make sure the tunnel is wide enough it fits the whole width of the ramp. Also, I don't know about other piggies but my wee guys are quite adept at reversal from tunnels!

Thanks. I have asked the company to confirm the diameter of the tunnels as Max is a big boy and I don't want him to get stuck. Will also be checking width the tunnel will be when attached to the base

My boys also manage to turn on the ramp and it doesn't seem to bother them. They even do this when playing :mal:
