Ramp Width

I am in the process of finishing my c and c tonight. The extra grids arrived and I have more correx now.

Now building the ramp but have no idea how wide it should be?

I use this in my hutches, it's very cheap, wide enough for big piggies, Stanley is a big lad, it comes in 2m lengths and you can stick carpet to the base for grip using double sided carpet tape.

Oh good - the black version of that is exactly what we put in ours last weekend! DH even managed to do something fancy by trimming the ends and using a hot air gun such that it now clips itself onto the penthouse level! (He may say he's doing for the kids but does give the impression of thoroughly enjoying himself .) We put in a bit of carpet tile with velcro dots, as they were what were in the house.

Awesome idea using the guttering! How is cortex strong enough for ramps anyway? I would have thought it would bend?

Think the would need reinforcing somehow.

@mshappy89 Is the correx strong? Never tried a ramp.....
