You haven't left a lot of room to add a ramp inside the set up but you could easily add an enclosed Exterior Ramp which would be much safer and you could spread it across 2 or even 3 grids so that it's less steep and therefore easier for the Piggies to use :) If you choose to use this option then you could also extend the upstairs by 2 more grids, giving the piggies a bit more room too so a win / win situation!

You can find lots of inspiration for ramps, including Exterior Ramps, on the Cavy Cages :)

Hi Nox, Thanks for the tip, however can't find any photo's at cavy cages of the exterior ramp. would love to see one but can't find one.
Do you know where you can buy the materials for an exterior ramp?

The ramps are generally made from bent grids, and something to line the floor like correx or carpet or something. There is a whole section on the Cavy Cages forum on how to make ramps so that my also be worth taking a look at

Here's a couple of links that show photos of an external ramp in use :)

And here's a photo of my enclosed ramp, I know mine is actually *in* the cage but it's the same principle, you just need to attach it to the outside and then sort out the entrances and exits :)
