I have this really cool cage that I would like to make suitable for my two piggies. It's actually a ferret cage, but would work great for piglets. (there's never been a ferret in there..)

My only questions are, if I make some ramps and install them in the cage, do you think they'd even use them? Also, the cage has a grid floor - I was going to put some carpet, then cardboard, then hay and bedding, will that be okay for my piggies?

Could you post a picture for us to see. As most ferret cages are tall rather than long, and piggies like to run about and not climb really.

I decided against the idea. I got the entire cage cleaned up and piggy ready (rather than ferret ready ^-^) But, I decided I didn't like it. So, I'm just going to stick with getting a C & C cage I think..

I went to bedbathandbeyond.com, and it looks like they have the grids - 16 for $15. The only think is that I will need to find the bottom? Also, I think what I found on BB&B.com was the right thing - are they also sold as organizers? Because - it looked the exact same as a c&c grid, and connectors, too. Let me know!
