Hello I have a two tier cage and my Guinea pigs seem to like going to the second tier and don’t have trouble getting up but seem uncomfortable and scared when having to get down. The ramp is made out of wood would it be better to maybe wrap it in carpet for them to grip or maybe put a tunnel up the ramp?To make them more comfortable. Thanks for the help

Yes it would be a good idea to add a grippy surface to it - carpet, vetbed, fleece tunnels etc can all be used.
Also ensure the ramp isn’t too steep.
