Ran Out Of Hay

I thought I had a spare bag of hay in the outhouse unfortunately I've completely run out and hubby is at work till later on tonight and has my cash card on him, I've. Cut them a load of fresh grass from the garden, luckily we have loads of long patches of green grass in the garden due to hubby being a lazy gardener so have cut them some fresh grass, will they be ok till the morning till I can walk to our nearest pet shop? I know too much fresh is bad for them as they're not used to grazing but will they be ok for now till tomorrow?

I had a similar problem and just fed them grass and they were fine. Also, if you can, give them a few extra hay based pellets

Hello, I've forgot hay on a few occasions...you sound like a caring piggy mama to be worrying about this, but don't worry! They'll be fine for one night as long as they have water and pig mix of some sort

Managed to get to the shop the morning after and I must say I was very impressed with the quality of our local shops hay, only 50p more than I'd usually pay but it was much greener and the piggies seemed to love it! Win win! I will be buying from their again in the future.
