Random Coughing

So Sheldon eats perfectly fine and drinks plenty. He has no nose discharge, clear eyes, and plenty of energy. He only cough/hacks 2 or 3 times and ONLY at night when he is laying on my chest
 
my Racer is the same.
it sounds like something between caught and sneezing
 
Keep an eye on it, random coughing can be linked to a heart issue but is usually when they are eating or being held.
 
Yes usually but not always and quite often can be preceeded by a hooting noise.
 
That's good, hopefully it is nothing to worry about then. Let us know though if you spot any of the following:

Laboured or rapid breathing
Nodding when breathing
Hooting followed by a cough
Repeated respiratory infections
Struggling to gain weight
Abdominal bloating

These are some of the signs of a heart issue.
