Random feed question.....pineapple tops?

Hiya, a friend recently told me that her piggies "go mental" for the spiky top off a pineapple.......hmmm......not sure about this one! I actually have a whole pineapple in the fridge, but I normally just bin the top.......what do you think? Piggy safe or not? My friend's pigs are in good health from what I gather.

Hmmm...this doesn't sound right to me!? I may be wrong, but I personally wouldn't give it to my piggies. Especially as the skin of a pineapple can be quite sharp/tough, and could be a potential choking hazard...

I'll bin the pineapple top like I normally do, I think!
