Hey all
Apologies for my first guinea pig pictures to be in the in i health and illness section!
I went to the vets after 1 week of getting my pigs (i got them on the 19th) and went this Monday)
To cut a long story short, I suspected mites as i was a getting a little itchy and noticed a bald patch on Rover - this was on Sunday (18th)
The vets treated both Range & Rover with inverticim (sp) just incase and werent too sure if it was mites.
Nonetheless, this should be sorted in the next 4 weeks or so... I'm keeping an eye on the patch and may give them a bath around 5-6 weeks time.
The picture below is of Range's backside... the vets said that it looked like an old wound (possibly from another GP in the pet shop) - i shouldn't have got them from there, but they are great and I do actually feel I rescued them from there. ")

What do you think it is, and is there anything I should do to treat?
