Hi all.

Sorry for mentioning this frequently but when would be an appropriate time to visit a vet for this issue. My pig pumpkin unfortunately has at-least one cancer in her neck that we were told would eventually grow enough and crush her windpipe.

However, one small lump appeared under the cancerous growth and it was a tad squishy. The Friday that just passed, it was the size of a piece of sweetcorn. It has since quadrupled in size and isn’t squishy

I don’t think she would survive surgery if I had money too and even if i did have money for the vet bills you have to factor in her quality of life. Currently I personally would say it is good. Whether or not that is because she is with me almost every day and perks up when I am there or if it is because she is fine.

Just looking for advice before i turn to professionals.

Sorry and thank you again.

Please see a vet as soon as possible with a very fast growing lump and take it from there. I am really sorry.

I had to pts my Tudur as soon as I could bag an emergency slot in the New Year when he developed a runaway tumour in the thyroid area over the turn of the year and it started to impact on his windpipe after just 24 hours of me noticing, so I really feel for you and your situation.

I am so sorry for your loss. She has had this other lump that had remained the same size for a couple months hence why I hadn’t been too worried. We saw a vet for it in december and she pretty much said unless we wanted to spend £££ then theres nothing we could do. The only option is surgery or unfortunately having her put down. The thing is, shes well in herself if you didnt know she had the lumps.
