This is dexamethasone steroids.

Steroids are contraindicated in small furries, I would steer clear of them if at all possible as often concurrent illness (especially respiratory issues) can be excassibated by he use of them. (Even when they are showing no signs). They have there place from time to time, but I am very cautious in the use of them.

@Pebble you may have some more grounding on steroid use. But personally (and professionally) we very rarely if ever use them.

This is a bit of a sticky area, my daughter took Rosie who has recurrent bladder issues to the vets and saw a different vet, She basically said what we were treating her with was doing no good and She would try something different. So Rosie is now on Septrin and the rapidexon (inj). Were taking her back tomorrow to another vet to see what the options actually are. I will be asking for an x-ray.
