Hello!

So, my girlfriend and I recently adopted a female guinea pig. One thing is definitel different about her as compared to the others. Instead of wheeking, she squeaks a bit and thecomes out with a strange rasping noise. Kind of like she's just not quite getting there. Is this normal? Concerning?

Doesn't sound healthy !

I'd advice a trip to the vets to have everything checked out, as if it's any form of infection it could be contagious to the other piggy.
Is there any certain time that it happens, when going to the toilet ? or anything like that.

No, just anytime she'd be wheeking. Like if she's excited or if she is running away from my grasping hands.
 
I would get that checked out as it sounds like it could be a respiratry infection.
