the vet said to put some sudocream on it but now she is after scratching it raw and it is bleeding a little. she began shrieking a little because it was hurting her what should i do for her until the vet opens tomorrow morning? i cant put anything on it as its too raw but i dont want it to get infected?!
please help!
thank you!

Can you give more details please of the "blister"?
A safe and effective ointment to ease any discomfort is Bepanthen Ointment, available from most chemists. An alternative is Aloe Vera Ointment.

Welcome to the forum, I am sorry your guinea has such a sore spot on his back.

The scab could have been related to a condition like mites (where the pig scratches the skin excssively, leading to a scab) or it could have been more along the lines of a sebaceous cyst or even abscess which he scratched open.

Has there been any sign of a lump/swelling around the 'blister' or hashe been scratching a lot in general? Any hair loss?
