I need everyones good vibes because as we speak George and Tiger are together in their playpen!

I have tried to re-bond them today and we have had a few moments but no fighting as yet so fingers crossed. They have had a bath which they hated and cuddled up to each other the whole way though making it very difficult for me (I just kept thinking at least they are being nice to each other.)

They then sat in the washing basket together looking cross whilst I finished off the playpen and still no fighting / argueing. I have sterlised their bottles, hayrack and bowls. I have disinfected and sterlised the playpen and bought new wooden toys and treats so their was no sign of any scent anywhere.

They have had a rumble at each other and twice they were loud teeth chattering at each other but I just walked towards them and they knew they were being naughty and stopped.

I have now blitzed the cage and put new toys in there for later on. It has been a very expensive and very planned out day (think in total cost about £60). This is because I had wooden houses etc.. which would hold the scent so I had to buy new houses, mountain of veggies, treats galore and lots of things to keep them occupied including lots of new wooden chew toys (two of each of course). I have also bought new beds, fleeces etc.. just in case the smell stays after the wash.

Please wish me luck as this is probably my last chance with these two if this doesn't work I don't know what will!

TIGER AND GEORGE BEHAVE YOURSELVES OR I WILL COME AND KNOCK YOUR HEADS TOGETHER! :o :o
Is that the sort of thing you are looking for Briony? rolleyes Really hope it all goes well. x

Bad news went to kitchen to get my food out of oven and they have been behaving all day and heard a huge squeel, walked back in to a full on fight george has a slight cut on his bottom lip but tiger looks like he has quite a big cut on his mouth again. Don't worry I will knock their heads together for you :)) I'm sure they will both be fine gonna bathe their mouths now with salt water.

Do you think they will be ok with a divide for ever as I daren't risk this again! ?

I think it is not looking very likely now, you have given them time apart, and tried again. I think they are going to have to continue to be neighbours. I don't know if others on here will know about growing closer as they get older, but through the puberty, hormone stages. xxxxx

Thanks Just checked them over and bathed their wounds, george is fine must have been tiger's blood, tiger seems a bit shaken but I have given him a cuddle and put him back in the cage leaving george in the playpen to cool off, he is still chattering away to himself and generally acting as if there is someone there to be horrible to when there isn't. I wish I could ban him from carrots for a week and he could understand he was naughty but nevermind!

Tiger will be going to the vets again for the fifth week in a row on tuesday just to see if he needs antibotics as somehow the inside of his mouth has been cut and I would imagine it might get infected!

I'm so sorry that it didn't work out!

Thanks! I was disappointed yesterday but it's ok. They seem to be ok living next to each other for now and In a few years when I get a bigger house I may try bonding them with a baby each. They both had a play outside today for the first time (not too sure if they liked it or not really) but they seem happy enough and both had a good munch of grass
