Long story short : I had 3 girls who all lived together until Jasmine and Cleo had a serious fight so we decided we had to seperate. We moved Jasmine to her own cage and kept Cleo with Bella. Jasmine has been seperate from both for 2 weeks. She does live side by side and when Cleo was near her it was very aggressive chittering (it was clear they hated one another and Jasmine was terrified) but never really chittered when she was near Bella

Jasmine and Bella always got on with the odd period of Jasmine trying to mount her : not sure if it was just when she was in season.

Today sadly Cleo was put to sleep after a kidney stone got stuck and they couldnt remove it.

Now that leaves Jasmine and Bella both alone so I would love the girls to live together again.

Do I just treat them as I would 2 completely new guinea pigs and bond that way or is there a different approach to this as they already knew each other and lived together before with no issues.

Thanks in advice.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

In terms of the bonding process, it’s exactly the same as any other bonding - neutral territory, no hides etc.

I hope the bonding works out. Keep us posted

So sorry that you lost Cleo.
You made that difficult decision out of love but she will still leave a big hole in your heart.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve.

Hope the bonding goes well

I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye to Cleo. Good luck with the bonding.

I’m sorry you had to help Cleo over the rainbow. Good luck with the rebonding and hope it works out.
