Readigrass vs Hay

I've been looking online for suppliers of hay and whilst browsing I came across someone selling 15kg bales of Readigrass. I was just wondering if you can feed it instead of hay or as a complimentary graze as well as hay?

I do plan on feeding both, its just for my own information.

redigrass is amazing stuff! My foster boars LOVE the stuff and its worked wonders getting Carlos to eat when coming out of his castrate!

I would only feed a small amount daily because it is often too high in protein & calcium to be fed liberally as hay, and can lead to weight gain and conditions such as bladder sludge and stones in excessive amounts. This case is certainly true in rabbits (what I am most clued up on, I admit!) but I would assume its near enough the same for cavys :)
