Does anyone else feed their piggies readigrass? I bought a bale for my piggies and at first they weren't sure what to do with it but now they go nuts for it. All it is is chopped, dried grass and is great at this time of year when you can't go pulling grass from the garden etc.

I have been using it for my piggies since getting them and they do seem to like it.

They arnt quite as enthusiastic for it as my chinchillas are, but they do sit and nibble quite a bit of it.

I feed it - they are MAD for it - i own a equestrian shop and sell it for horses! I read here that i could use it for pigs and they are NUTS for it - mind you its 2 or 3 times as expensive here in germany as your uk prices :( I sell one 15kg bag at 19,00 euros - thats about 16 quid! I dont like the look of the straw form the local pet shop and other than my horses straw this was the ebst option for me....luckily they love it - at the moment they are nibbling a loo roll holder full :D

Can you get hay for them Kerry too, they need that rather than straw

Mine love readigrass, go mad for it, in fact I've had to cut it down as they weren't eating their hay ::)

Merlin seems to have gone off it now I have 2 x 1K bags of the stuff :(

cool i use this for my horses does it come in smaller bags? i get it in 25 kilo bags mabye i could pinch a bit off my horse lol

I've just bought a bale of grze-on after my friend lisa gave me some to try my guineas with and they love it :)
it's only £5.80 a bale and will last for months

I just brought some Graze-on today too. The bale is MASSIVE though. I think I'm going to start a piggy essentials shop from my house because this stuff will go off before its used up.
How do you 'serve' the stuff? do you put it in a bowl or do a few piles of it around their hutch?
