Really dirty grease gland

My two boys have really really dirty grease glands, it's all over there behinds? I use chopped up carboard called bedexcel and I give them a full clean out once a week. Is that maybe not enough?
How can I get on top of it, I tried cutting some of it out but it made it worse .
How can I get on top of it and keep them nice and clean? Help please?

you can wash it with swarfega? If you just rub a bit in and leave it a little while it loosens it, then you can rinse it away.

Swafega or washing up liquid works well in cleaning grease glands. Some older boars get blocked up glands and they need a clean once in a while.
