Really Missed The Piggy's Whilst Away...

Know exactly what you mean. Those piggy welcome home kisses and cuddles are very precious. Hope you had a good break.
 
well the break was nice..... apart from the lodge we stayed in was a bit dirty and grubby...... now don't get me wrong, my house isn't spotless but its my mess / dirt ( not that it is dirty... oh you know what i mean here ).... but there was food on the floor when i went in & it just annoyed me! I range reception and she sent a cleaner down... she hoovered round, badly, i wanted to take the hoover off her and do it myself........ when she had gone we unpacked - after checking the beds - they were clean....... there were dead flies in the lights, dust on the lamp shades and the kitchen extractor, kitchen blind was grubby as hell..... It cost £409 for 4 nights so I expect it to be nice and clean... we stayed there last year in another lodge and it was immaculate - hence returning this year... i emailed them that night and they offered to send a cleaner round... i declined as we had unpacked .... just put a downer on it for me... and my bed was lumpy !

don't blame you ! Was this the place with a hot tub ?
 
I'm the same way... I am always so happy to see them when I get home, and always worry about them when I'm not there! My husband rolls his eyes at me! Last fall we went on vacation and my friend who was caring for the pigs sent me a Facebook update every day so I wouldn't worry! I hate leaving Sundae because she is elderly and has health issues so it gave me peace of mind on vacation!

i face-timed mine last year when we went to Florida for 2 weeks ! x
 
Sorry about the grotty room :rant: I agree you pay so expect much better standards than that!
Sooooo sweet they came straight to you when you got home :luv::luv:
We went away once for a couple of weeks I was desperate to see Duke and when we went to mum n dads to get him he came up wheeking :love:
