Really need advice

After seeing tiny white mites and lice in our hay we have ordered some new hay but worried about it happening again so was wondering when you microwave it in the microwavable bags how long do you do it for?
(saw the same white mites in sawdust so we are swapping to fleece!)

PS i dread to think how much we have spent this week due to those bloody mites/lice!

I've never heard of microwaving hay but thought I would bump this for you.

hi i think on another thread it say 45 seconds to 1 min and then straight out of the bag and let it cool.
