BonBon is doing well. We're stuck at 780g at the moment, but she's stopped loosing any weight now, it's been two weeks since she started maintaining.
She now appears to be able to eat nuggets again, I tried her the other day and today, and no sign of her holding it in her mouth, and no dribbling of it when she gets her syringe. This really is a wait and see game atm, but each day she makes more progress. She now appears to be nibbling all day rather than at intervals which she was doing before. I'm now looking at other ways of helping her gain weight without having to hand feed her probiotics, and have looked online and found some potentially better ways.
If anyone can suggest a food that is really enjoyable for her, that contains everything she needs because she won't touch burgess nuggets, we would be very grateful. I'm trying to move her off P@H nuggets, and get her onto something easier to eat, and good for her tummy and digestive system. Thanks :)

Usually I would suggest Bunny or Vitakraft but Tim has been struggling with those recently due to his dental issues, though he has since attempted the Vitakraft. I am going to phase then back in though. How about J R Farms grainless complete from Zooplus? mine have liked it when they have had it in the past and the pellets are softer than the Vitakraft, so I am ordering them on payday tomorrow.

You could also consider serving mushed up pellets for easier eating; it will hopefully encourage her to eat more.

It can often take weeks after a major operation or illness to recover lost weight, and older guinea pigs may never get back to their previous level. It is a great sign that BonBon's weight has stabilised, though! The rest is likely going to be a rather slow process with little ups and downs.

Thanks for the update on BonBon, I am glad to hear she is doing well. Stabilisation on her weight is great news. As piggies get older, they do find a normal lower weight... This has happened with all our older piggies. Please keep us updated and continued vibes to your little one

lovely to hear she is doing well and her weight has stabilized. i was going to suggest pellet mash aswell, and perhaps small amounts of critical care. maybe in a dish if she will eat it that way :)

I've tried mushed up pellets but she refuses to touch those :( (fussy girl lol!) I've found some interesting websites yesterday, ordered some more fibre plex, through VetUk, and another site, where I found 100g tub of powder that you sprinkle on their food, with all the vitamins and probiotics, that she needs to get her guts running properly.
Her poops have firmed up, but are still not full size yet, although, the length is there, it's just the depth, and the look normal, and not sticky. I'm changing her nuggets to ones with probiotics in, so if she eats them ok, I might not even need to syringe feed fibre plex any more, or use the powder, fingers crossed.

Worth a try I think.

She was very argumentative this morning, not wanting her gripe water (she can be like this every few days) and trying to attack the cotton wool I was using to wipe her mouth, but her fibre plex just went straight in, no arguments there lol!
I don't know whether it's because she feels she doesn't need it hence putting up a fight, or because she's fed up of it, but she's usually as good as gold the next time, so who knows?
Items I ordered from VetUk due this afternoon, I've also ordered them a Superpet Camp-N-Out Sleeper Tent for their run :D

AWW Bless her, hope she continues on this way.
Have you tried porridge? I have done this in the past, I made mine with water and left until luke warm, some pigs really enjoy some don't but if she likes fruit you could maybe put some pureed fruit in it to sweeten, oats are meant to be good for older pigs and weight gain I hear.
