Rearranging. 6x2 cage

Hello I currently have 2 Guinea split over 2 c and c cages.
My pair of boys are in a 6x 2 cage with a large litter and hay area taking up 2x1 space, 2 wooden houses (with two entrances), a tunnel, a few enrichment things. They don’t seem to have a huge amount of run around space.

Do people find a 3x 4 set up gives a bit more space as the space to run is long and thin at the moment?

The best thing would be to experiment and see if your piggies' behaviour changes. They are usually most physically active early morning and early evening when zoomies is most likely to happen. It is nice for them to have space in which to indulge their love of zoomies if they are zoomy piggies.

My pair live in a 5x2 cage.
They tend to rearrange the furniture to create a zoomie track around the cage.
All the furniture ends up in the middle.
They will find a way !
