Should I rearrange the boys furniture for something different or do they like consistency?

I think your piggies live side by side? Yes you can change things around. It's when you have a pair of boars you need to be careful as changing things can trigger dominance behaviours. Changing things can amuse them but if they don't like it obviously don't do it again! I change things around for my singles and my well bonded pairs regularly.

Hi

That very much depends on your piggies. Some enjoy exploring changes to their environment while others can be very upset.
If your boys are teenagers, especially around 6 months, and/or piggies who are already somewhat touchy about cage cleaning, then I would not recommend it.

As long as you do not clean and scent-wipe any rearranged furniture, it makes any changes easier and even a blind piggy can orient themselves as to what is what and where.

I rearrange the Quartet's cage every so often. They always go to explore the "new" stuff as a group, but it doesn't upset them, they're just curious (well, nosy). As long as they don't mind the first change I see no reason to stop doing it.
