To anyone else who uses fleece, what detergent do you use?

No matter what one I seem to use for my fleece, it comes out of the washing still smelling a little bad. :S

Any suggestions?

Do you use a biological detergent? That's all I can think of that'd be best, other than that I don't know sorry

I am sure you can get liquid detergent with Febreze in it, not tried it myself as they are on shavings now but may be worth a try. When I used to have fleece, I added fabric conditioner and they always came out smelling nice. :)

I use a non-bio liquid gel and no fabric conditioner (as this can stop the pee from wicking away). I usually wash the fleece at 30 degrees but noticed it wasn't washing up as well recently. I washed them at 40 degrees and they smell great this time. You can also add a capful of white vinegar to the wash (in the fabric conditioner compartment) as this will help get rid of stubborn odours.

:)

I do mine on a 40 degree wash and use something called surcare- its for sensitive skin never had a problem with smells. :)

If you're washing at 30, try changing to 40. Also, like was previously said, add some white vinegar to wash, that will take away the nasty smell.

I use Fairy on mine, i think its one of those items that will never come out smelling or roses, but i only ever wash mine separetly with no other washing items and it comes out clean and my girls dont seem to mind
