I recently bought the Collins Family Pet Guide - Guinea Pig by Peter Gurney. So far, I have found it very informative – excellent words of advice and wonderfully cute pictures too.
I gather that Peter Gurney was the guru of all piggy information, but sadly found out that he passed a few years ago. He was an amazing man by all accounts – his charity work for Great Ormond Street hospital was exceptional.

Can anyone recommend any further books of interest about piggies?

I think that's the best one and even that's outdated now. I would stick to the forum and Guinea Lynx! :))

I liked this one alot

They even talk about C&C cages.

Thanks everyone – I shall look into these books. 8:)
btw: I've used 'The Book Depository' for online orders, they're very good.

I've got this one too, it's really useful, I would recommend it. I'm sure I've seen it at Pets at Home too.

Glad someone else has read it. I've read about 20 of them but this one was more useful than some of the others I have bought. Talks about calcium / phosphorous ratio too I think..... It seemed more up to date than other books I have read.
