The girls are firmly settled into the piggy palace and it is now all fleece, so I feel like I have their inside area sorted. Now turns to a run solution for the summer. I’d like something that is moveable so the lawn isn’t ruined, suitable for 6 (since we have 2 more joining us, bonding dependent) and with a secure roof since we have cats. Any recommendations or am I best to get hubby to build something!
Thanks

Argh, your run! Can’t change the title!

If you’re in the UK, you may find a run large enough on the Home and Roost website. I’m pretty sure they do a 7ft run, but otherwise to be able to get it big enough it may be easier (and work out cheaper) to make it.
I also keep rabbits and finding runs big enough for them is near impossible so we’ve always made our own

Will check out that site. Thanks.

I would highly recommend this one. The 7.7 ft run! It's a really good size! I currently have it for my 7 guinea pigs and they have plenty of room. I've got the rabbit version which is 120cmx 240cm over 32 square feet! It's also foldable! I've only had it two days though but I'm really impressed. I haven't secured it on with screws as I'm always in the garden with them. Good luck! It was also £110. (Make sure you get the larger 7.7 rabbit version) x

That looks a great run!

I have a 4ft x 3 ft run with a runaround 6ft tunnel attached to a 4ft x 2 ft bunny ark. Mine are indoor piggies but I like them to go outside in the summer months during the day. I’m a big believer in the health benefits of fresh air 😊 and grass. The tunnel is great fun, they love shooting in and out of the other end 😆

Thanks, it’s many buys cobbled together really! Tonight OH has just ordered another run. It’s a 4 x 3 ft collapsible from Delton pet homes £69 plus £9 postage as we have realised we have two couples now so rather than remove the tunnel we’d get a new folding run for the girls (they are not that energetic now) so that wI’ll be adequate for them and both couples can take turn in either too

Hi. I am thinking of getting this run, can it be used as a standalone run as well as attached to the hutch?

I am. Thinking of the 5ft hutch and XL run.

Thanks x
