Recommended Spot On?

My guineas are indoor guineas but do you recommend a spot on just incase of mite or fleas? If so which one?
 
When mine had mites I was prescribed xeno 450 spot on, worked really well and much better than the PAH ivermectin I'd bought myself. You can get it online really easily.
 
I wouldn't use anything else except xeno450. I've tried the spot on and Bob Martin, it's not the same for me.
On the basis my vet recommends and only prescribes xeno it's for me every time.
