Recommended vets for heart pigs in midlands

I've got a hooting pig...
He's been seen by my normal vet who I normally trust...
But she had never heard of a hooting pig... And wasn't really up for looking in to his heart other than a quick listen to his heart... Which sounded okay...

So has any one used a vet for a heart pig preferably one that knows about hooting pigs... Based in the midlands area... I'm on the border of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire...
So I can get to most places...

It's probably quite a long way from you but Simon Maddock at the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic in Northampton is a top class piggy vet. I know Tracy at RNGP Welfare uses him I'm not sure he's dealt with heart pigs but you could always phone him - 01604 478888.
 
Have a look for Debedee on here she is a vet nurse and had a heart pig her vets helped a great deal with him she is in Cheshire x

You could try Marie at Manor vets in Birmingham. She's the exotics one and sees a fair amount of guinea pigs. I know one of her nurses. Teejay uses them too.
 
Hey Clare I use King Richards Vets in Leicester after being recommended them by honeybunnies. I have found them brilliant so far but not had a heart pig so couldn't tell you that much. I think Paula is the woman to see as far as guinea pigs are concerned. If you do end up going there at all drop me a note when as I only live round the corner and you're welcome to pop in for a cuppa

Trust me... I'm not her biggest fan... Infact I'd go as far as to say I'd never ever step foot in that practice again...
She messed up big time with my coco...

Will PM you now with the phone number, am actually in seeing Paula on Friday to get Bumbles foot spur trimmed so will ask for you.
