I just had an idea ! What if I kept a record of my piggies in a divided note book, with sections like behavior, health, fav foods ect. anybody think it's any good ?

I think that would be a great idea if you have some time to spare. This would allow you to notice any changes in your piggies behaviour, health etc. Maybe I should start one, too.

I have a book with my piggies details in. I record their DOB, breed, colour etc
Their weights, when ive bathed them, clipped their nails & any vet visits/meds :)

Yes, definitely. Keeping records, especially weight and medical, is very important!

I have plans - currently on the backburner due to personal circumstances - to design a professionally bound record book to sell for guinea pigs. Medication charts, weight charts, medical history, adoption/purchase information and references and so on. I'll get there one day.

For now I just used Publisher (with the Excel table tool) to make a chart for each of my pigs. Does the job just fine. :)

Definitely, I keep records, not just of my own, but of the fosters too, then I can pass on weights, clips, etc to new owners. I'm a bit of a geek, I love paperwork! xx

Woo Hoo me too :)) I'll start mine tonight -c

Defiantly keep a record! I have one with weights, vet visits, observations, feeding, show records, descriptions, and some other stuff. It is so helpful so when i go out of town and other people take care of them, they can look at it (i keep it near my cages) and know feeding, and stuff. It is super helpful!
