Do you write down info about your piggies? Like weights, vet visits, baths etc? Do you do it on paper or on the computer? What other stuff do you write about?

I don't really record anything but I do weigh them weekly - I think I need to start writing stuff down though. So what do you record?

That's a good idea Jane, no I don't really record anything just keep hold of their ages and weights. :)

i have a notebook lol it has baths, ages, weights, fav foods, worst foods, nail trims, alsorts lol ;D

I do weights and have their birthdays written down, thats it really! they dont get bathed often enough to record and i remember what vets say etc! x

Ooh Kelly, I think I might do that :D Thankies!

I think I will have..birthdays (rough idea), day I got them, weights, baths, nail trims, vet visits..hmm, anything else? :P

I have an excel spreadsheet that has a page for each pig.

It has a profile date of birth, colour, sex, date came to me,etc

Weights, baths and nail trims trips to vet.

Love excel as you can create graphs to check on weights.

:)

I use beautiful books from paperchase. I have accounts of things they do, photos, vet receipts, birthday cards and everything about them. I feel guilty because i haven't been keeping up to date. It's just like a diary about the little loves

I have a weight sheet for all my piggies O0
I health check my piggies about twice a week and record anything down i notice like cuts etc on my piggy calendar O0
I dotn record baths or vet visits ::)

I dont really have enough piggies to need a record book, but I do jot down the nail trims and their weights.

I have a notebook and i record when they've been ill, had an injury, weekly weigh in, birth dates, vet visits, what i've treated them with and when, when i've bathed them and clipped their nails, a weekly health check even if they're fine, i still put, helath fine! ::), favourite foods and what toys and treats they like, and any info that i print off etc. But i'm a girl obssesed! i really put anything about them! ;D it's just a good record, cos you might not remember when they were ill, or when you last bathed them etc O0

Thats a great idea O0

I might just write a rough one on Microsoft Word

I'm not allowed to say any of my animals or my colleges animals are FINE ::) we get a massive lecture of my tutor as the word FINE is unacceptable as there can be diseases or stuff that you cannot see :D

On the colleges health sheets we have to write NAD - Nothing Abnormally Detected :P

I record when they arrive, birthday, breed, colour, where i got them & when they leave for the bridge, weights, bathing, grease gland cleaning, nail clipping & any vet vists, ailments, meds given in a book :)

I have a diary that i put all our appointments, work times etc for the kids and Duke (and dear Sully's 0:)) arrival date, birthday, weight, illnesses & meds and what they can and can't eat when ill and vet appointments are also in there as well. So you see i include them with the family :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I have a book i keep everything that happens to the piggies in there they have all got there own page with a small photo stuck to it and all there details are there vets visits baths who they live with weights description when i had them how old they are and finally when they die x

well what i mean by fine is, nothing i can see is wrong, it's just for me anyway really, so i know what i mean! ;D

I record weight.
New Veg they do not eat
Any extra's I have to do
When a new bag of food is opened.

With the weight I record gain/loss in grams and also the percentage their weight has changed by.

Mostly it is just weight that I need to record.

i keep things in a book i am up to book 10. i record things like what they are fed for each day, poops, medication, behaviour, vet visits, treatment, cost, weights, claws trimmed, any injuries, i do this for the 2 guinea pigs and bunny/ies. was reading a book the other day and it bought back so many memories some good and some sad. i find keeping a record is not only helpful for me but it is helpful for the vet too. i have all this information at my fingertips and have found it has been helpful more than once. hugs and cuddles to you and your fur babies. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Oh thank goodness i thought i was the only one who did this! i've got graphs... ::)

It depends how many you've got and how good / bad your memory is. Mine is awful so I type everything up, just in case- it's come in very handy on more than one occasion!
