Recovery After Spaying - Please Give Me Some Hope

After a wonderful weekend where she picked up, was eating almost normally. I found her this morning in a terrible state, she had lost 100g overnight I cannot even fathom how she could have lost that amount in 12 hours and in terrible pain. So we let her go this morning it was no longer fair to carry on, she will be running painfree and happy now, I hope with Claire's Eliza and all their friends.

I am devastated as she was such a sweet girl and fought hard throughout her illness, we developed that special bond you do when intensively caring for them, I will miss her snuggling in my hair and falling asleep. I will write a tribute when I am up to it. but RIP my beautiful girl, we will miss you terribly. xxxxxxx

You have done everything you could, but something was obviously not right.

So did I, thats what kind of made it so much worse. Something was terribly wrong I just wish I knew what and now I am regretting getting her spayed :-( Even the vet was upset this morning. They are so tiny and so delicate. I just wish there was a magical cure for them all. Sad thing was her boyfriend was so upset, would not let the others near her body and just stood over her. Made me even more upset.

I'm really sorry for the loss of your piggy after all the wonderful effort you've done to get her back to health again. I've shed a few tears reading this & know exactly what you're going through because I too lost 2 piggies in spite of doing all I could & just felt drained afterwards. R.I.P. little one. xx

I know what you mean. It takes so much out of you and you always think you could have done more. I miss her terribly. Sorry to hear of your little ones. Hopefully they are all in heaven popcorning together. RIP beautiful babies xx
