I currently have 4 guinea pigs, 2 males and 2 females. They live in seperate cages 2ft by 5ft and have fleece bedding.

I have recently noticed the male guinea pig have red marks on the back feet, that look quite sore, but dont seem to bother them when touched.

I was just wondering what could be causing it, i didnt think they could get bumble foot from fleece bedding and if it is the fleece why is it only the boys getting it not the girls?

Could you please post a picture? It is very difficult to assess just from your post. Anyway, if in doubt, please see a vet.
Please consider the washing powder you are using for the fleeces and cosies. Ideally you use a non-bio without any additives. Guinea pigs are very sensitive.

Ditto to Wiebke. If in doubt please see a vet. Don't self treat or use any creams on their feet.

I was talking to my vet about red feet as one of my boys had a bit of redness on his feet. I've since added pieces of Vetbed to the areas he likes to lay in and they're ikay again. Anyway, my vet said it's always best to leave their feet alone (unless it's bumblefoot) as creams and lotions can soften their skin and make things worse. Or open the pores and let in irritants.

I have got the same advice from my vet.
