My interest was piqued by Fox'n'muffin's thread about the GPs eating bean leaves. I thought, that is do-able here, so I found some in a local garden and brought a few home to see if Redemption was interested. I thought he would get whiplash, his head turned so fast toward the bean leaves! I didn't cut too many as I didn't know if he would like them. Turns out I will have to make regular trips to the bean patch until the end of the season! Here is a shot of Red eating bean leaves:

:)):)):)) You'll have to grow your own next year - once they get the taste for them they will want them as often as possible:))

He's a cutie pie. Glad he's enjoying his runner bean leaves. :)
 
he looks so healthy and glossy, i bet he thought all his christmases had come at once when he was rescued by you x

I just tried mine on bean leaves too and they wolfed them down. I didn't know they could eat them either. Thanks go to Fox'n'muffin.
 
Red is looking so healthy and glossy. drool Will have to raid my parents garden for some bean leaves I think.
