Hi all well I have my beautiful trio! Dior has been renamed Gwenivere - gwen for short :)
But jools pointed out a red bald spot near her bum and I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it - jools said it was most likely one of the other two that did it. Ill post a picture.

I would check for mites or fungus, to be on the safe side.

I'd take them to your vet, have them registered and MOTed - that's what I do with every piggy of mine. A first visit won't cost a lot and you will be set up for emergencies with the paperwork out of the way.

The patch doesn't look very bad; it's not bloody and it doesn't look scaly. It is just very difficult to get an idea without handling Gwen.

Just for extra info, all 3 were bathed yesterday and I didnt notice any bald spots on Gwen but that doesnt mean it wasnt there. She has a lot of hair so I might not have spotted it. When they were all bathed they started to pull at each others hair with their teeth so am wondering if thats whats caused it?
Lisa, if yu end up having to take Gwen to vet then give me a bell as I will cover the vets bill if there is something up with her. I hope its nothing, I feel awful if it is as I never noticed anything wrong :red

dont be silly jools its not your fault! Its probably nothing, it doesnt look too bad, ill take them all vets monday for a check up :) ill keep you updated x They are all settling in nicely - I gave them some veg and francesca (versaci) promptly took out all the broccoli and ran away with it! I can tell already that she's going to be a cheeky little madam!

It's so easy to overlook something - especially with a furball like Gwen/Dior. I've been there as well... As you say - it might just have been overenthusiastic grooming!
