Has anyone tried feeding red currants to their pigs? I got some in my veg box this week and I am not keen (as well as too lazy to make red currant jelly), so I thought that my vegetable disposal units might like some as a treat.

Try it? I doubt they will love them though... they are pretty tart without bucketloads of sugar

That's mainly why I don't like them! I'll give it a go and see if I get the "what's this rubbish? Where's our parsley?" face. The pie idea sounds tempting, although I'll need to get rid of the massive cheesecake I made the other day first!
I don't see how finishing a cheescake off can ever be a problem ? Invite someone over!

I'm sure that my sister, my boyfriend and I can polish it off between us rolleyes. Better not give any to the pigs though!
