Hi, I got two gorgeous 8 weeks guinea it’s las Saturday (29.4) according to the lady from the pets at home they’re 2 boys. It’s my first time looking after guinea pigs.
They are eating and drinking fine, however one of them, Greyson, as his left ear red, I’ve noticed yesterday (Monday) and checked with the pet at home staff, who told me it was ok unless is bright red with blood.
Today doing the checks on my little cuties, I realise Greyson’s ear is more red now than before. Should I be worried? I don’t know what to do as I keep getting all sort of different advices.

Hi and welcome

Guinea pigs regulate their body temperature via the blood flow in their ears. Pink ears going red means simply that your piggy is feeling a bit hot. The inceased blood flow is most noticeable in pink eyes and pink feet.
