A life lived to the full. Red knew his place in the world and that he was always right. A master of bar biting, which he was happy to teach every piggy who came within hearing.
IMG_0213.webpSupposed to be 12 weeks when he arrived to be bonded to Caspy. I suspect more like 8.

IMG_0472.webpIMG_0398.webpHappy together until Red nipped Caspy on his bum. I think accidental nail scatch or one tooth graze when playing but Caspy sat in a corner for 2 days and would no longer engage with Red.

IMG_0987.webpIMG_1257.webpBrillo came into his life best friends forever except sharing a cage was only for 2.5 years. One day they had a rolling ball fight. Red lived very happily next to Brillo and rejected all attempts to bond with anyone else. They washed each others faces and chatted and rumble strutted through the divider.

Red was in his element rushing around on the lawn and visiting which ever piggies were in the runs surrounding him. Lap time was a favourite pastime.

IMG_1561.webpRed was also known as an artist in some circles although his creations didn't last long, he had a tendency to chew them up.

IMG_1748.webpSleep tight sweetheart, you are so missed

I’m so sad to read this. What a beautiful tribute to a life well lived in your care. Such lovely photos. I remember his elephant art work too- what a legend. Take care as you grieve, lovely Red sounded very special indeed.

What a beautiful tribute. I am so very sorry to hear that Red has joined the ever-growing herd at the rainbow bridge. Sleep tight, gorgeous boy 🌈. Big hugs to you @piggieminder

I'm so sorry to hear this. You clearly loved him deeply, and he looked like a piggy living his life to the full in those beautiful photos.
RIP Red 🕊

Sorry for your loss. That was a lovely tribute to Red. He was such a handsome piggy and was full of personality. Sleep tight Red x

The date in the title should be 12 Aug. If anybody clever with forum technical permission sees this please can you change it. Sorry to be a pain, I checked on the calendar but it seems I don't know what day of the week it is.

Done, it's not a bother. I'm sorry you lost Red, he was clearly well loved.

I'm sorry you lost Red. He sounds a real character and looks adorable as well. He had a great life with you, 7.5 years! I remember his elephant art.

Aw rip Red. I remember his bar biting and his socialising during outdoor time. I had a bit of a soft spot for him.

How lovely that he enjoyed lap time so much. He does look very relaxed in the photos.
