Hello its been a quite longtime since I last write anything in here. Everything has been really good with my peruvian baby girl Agatha this past 6 months.
So today I notice her ears have turn red (they're normally of a light pink color) so I was wondering if I should be worry about it. She seems normal otherwise. She ate her normal amount of veggies in the morning and she's now eating hay.

What is the weather like where you live? Is it warmer than usual ?

Guinea pig regulate the body temperature through increased blood flow in the ears. Your piggy is feeling rather warm.

Well I live in a tropical weather and right now we're on the rainy season so that means its hotter in the mornings than in the evening. So maybe that could be the reason of why her ears were red?

She's probably warm. Their ears are very vascular and will flush if they are hot as a means of cooling themselves down. It's only noticeable in pigs with pink ears, though. You may also notice it on the soles of their feet!
