Red Kale?

Picked up a lovely fresh 200g bag of this today at Morrisons for only 50p! It was half the price of the standard green kale. Am presuming that this is safe to feed like the green one (ie in moderate amounts) to the piggies and the bunnies. From what I can find out it is simply slightly more bitter than the standard green variety?

yes, red kale is fine, i feed it to my boys
