Red lump on lip

Hi everyone.
I noticed a small, red lump on my boar Manny's lip yesterday. He ate fine and I was thinking it may have been some sort of insect sting, but it seems to have gotten slightly bigger and redder today.
I'm thinking maybe an abcess but I'm not sure. I plan to take him to the vet tomorrow morning. Any insight or suggestion would be welcome!

It's possible that it's swelling with pus, maybe a piece of hay pierced the skin slightly allowing infection in. I haven't seen anything like this before so a vets visit is definitely best

Aw, that looks sore, a vet visit would definitely be wise in this situation. It could be a bite or possible abscess, best to get it checked out before it gets worse. Let us all know how little Manny gets on x

I'm not sure to be worried or relieved that you haven't seen it before - I think I'm just worrying about him.
