I need an opinion on what is happening. I just realised my guinea pogo has red spot on his nose. Since i dont have any experience in these kind of situations, i am relying on you guys. Is it a scratch or some kind of disease?
It's impossible to say from a photo alone, that and we aren't vets so can never be 100% sure. It could be a scratch or bite from a cage mate, he could have caught it on something or it could be the start of a fungal infection. I would be inclined to book a vets appointment when they are open to see what they make of it
We don’t know anything about your piggy by way of background. Like if he lives alone, if you’ve just got him or whatever. So we would just be speculating whether it is fungal, accidental injury or a bite or swipe from a cage mate. But a vet is the best place to get it checked to see if it is a bite/scratch/fungal or something else.
